Parents who fill out Georgia Form IT-QEE-TP1 selecting Ideate Education Empowerment, Inc. as the Student Scholarship Organization to receive their 2011 redirected state tax liability may select the private school. Ideate Education Empowerment, Inc. will distribute the tuition tax credit scholarship funding directly to the school chosen by the contributor.

Parents will receive an income tax credit against their Georgia income taxes for the amount of their contribution.

   Individuals/Head of Household up to $1,000
   Couples up to $2,500
   Couples filing separate up to $1,250
   Credits that exceed the income tax liability for 2011 may be used against the next succeeding five years’ tax liability.

Your generous contribution will increase the amount of financial aid for students and their families that would be eligible to receive tuition at the designated private school.

Requirements for children to be eligible to receive Ideate Education Empowerment, Inc. scholarships:

   Must be a resident of the state of Georgia.

   Enrolled in a public school in the state of Georgia.

   Eligible to enroll in a qualified public school kindergarten class.

   Eligible to enroll in a public school pre-kindergarten program.

Private schools eligible to accept tuition tax credit scholarship funding from Ideate Education Empowerment, Inc., must be accredited by one of the following:

   SACS-CASI = Southern Association of Colleges and Schools

   GAC = Georgia Accreditation Commission

   GACS = Georgia Association of Christian Schools

   ASCI = Association of Christian Schools International

   GaPSAC = Georgia Private School Accrediting Commission

   SAIS = Southern Association of Independent Schools
